The Unemployment Insurance Bureau provides legal representation to the Department of Employment Security. The Bureau's responsibilities include representing the Department in administrative review cases from either benefit or tax decisions, prosecuting civil collections cases for both benefit overpayment and non-payment of unemployment insurance taxes, criminal prosecution of unemployment insurance fraud, representing the Department in bankruptcy cases and handling subpoenas or other official requests for information.
Salary:
Salaries are commensurate with the number of years of practice as a licensed attorney and start at $81,000.
